Socialinės apsaugos terminų žodynas. Prieiga per internetą

1998 m. Sveikatos ekonomikos centro išleistas aiškinamasis “Socialinės apsaugos terminų žodynas” nuo 2023 m. yra pasiekiamas per internetinę prieigą. Žodynas buvo parengtas Lietuvos Respublikos socialinės apsaugos ir darbo ministerijos užsakymu ir buvo finansuojamas Europos Sąjungos PHARE Consensus programos (projekto Nr. LI972503.04020) lėšomis. Pagrindinė žodyno paskirtis – padėti tobulinti socia­linę politiką ir vykdyti socialinės apsaugos reformas integruojantis į Europos Sąjungą. Projektu buvo siekiama šių tikslų:

  • sudaryti šiuolaikinį svarbiausių Lietuvos socialinės politikos terminų sąrašą atsižvelgiant į Europos Sąjungos praktiką ir siekiant suvienodinti vartojamus lietuviškus terminus;
  • nustatyti angliškus lietuvių kalbos terminų atitikmenis, vartojamus Europos Sąjungos dokumentuose;
  • palengvinti Lietuvos bendradarbiavimą su Europos Sąjungos ir kitomis valstybėmis;
  • padėti vertėjams iš lietuvių kalbos į anglų kalbą ir atvirkščiai.

Į žody­ną dėta terminų, kurie Lietuvoje pagal tradiciją būtų priskirti prie sveikatos apsaugos organizavimo bei finansavimo terminijos, bet nedėta dalis techni­nių darbo, užimtumo ir darbų saugos terminų, kurie, kitaip negu įprasta Lietuvoje, nepriskiriami prie socialinės apsaugos terminų pagal Consensus programos turinį. Iš viso žodyne pateikiama apie 1100 paaiškintų lietu­viškų terminų su anglų kalbos atitikmenimis. Kad vartotojams būtų pato­giau, įdėti dar ir abėcėlinis anglų–lietuvių kalbų terminų žodynas bei sisteminė lietuviškų terminų rodyklė. Anglų–lietuvių kalbų terminų žodyne, be paaiškintųjų, papildomai įdėta apie 30 terminų, kurių aiškinti nematyta prasmės.
